Central Asia Institute Travels to Pakistan

This fall, Central Asia Institute’s Executive Director, Alice Thomas, will once again travel to Pakistan to connect directly with the communities we serve. Joining her this year is CAI’s International Program Director, Anh Pham.
 
Together, Alice and Anh will visit CAI-sponsored schools to meet with students and teachers, and they’ll spend time with women entrepreneurs who are building brighter futures through our Women’s Economic Empowerment programs. Their journey offers a unique window into the life-changing impact of your support, stories and updates we look forward to sharing with you.

Champions of the Golden Valley Screening + Q&A

Central Asia Institute hosted a screening of the award-winning film, Champions of the Golden Valley, at The Ellen Theatre in Bozeman, MT. The film was followed by brief panel discussion featuring the film’s producer, Katie Stjernholm; Ambassador Richard Boucher, former Assistant Secretary of State for South and Central Asia; and Alice Thomas, CAI Executive Director.

Preschool #2 Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony

Five years ago, we broke ground on a new Preschool No. 2, with donors immediately joining as Brick Layers to fund the construction of this model school. Despite the challenges of working in such a remote and unstable environment, and the delays caused by limited access to supplies and labor, the dream was kept alive through the steadfast commitment of our community.
