Safer Learning

Create a safe, secure environment so young minds can THRIVE.

Could you see the chalkboard in a dark classroom? Could you focus on the day’s lesson with water leaking onto your desk? Could you sit through 3 hours of school without a bathroom break?

Environment has a big impact on a child’s ability to learn.

Together, we are breaking ground on a new era of peace. The children of Pakistan, Afghanistan, and Tajikistan need safe learning environments to be tomorrow’s peace leaders.

We can start with projects like these:

Ray-e-Abisham Primary School
Generations of girls will drop out, or be forced to drop out, of school if conditions at Ray-e-Abisham Primary School in Ishkashim, Afghanistan are not improved.

Diamer High School
Help us ensure that the conservative communities around Diamer, Pakistan will not forbid their daughters from receiving a formal education because of poor conditions.

Garhill Preschool
Children as young as 2 years old huddle outside with nothing to protect them from the elements except a flimsy tent. We can change that.

Kishmanjo Foot Bridge
An impassable river stands between the children of Koye and an education. Give them access to the schooling they need.

These crucial capital projects are just the tip of the iceberg. This year alone, $250,000 is needed to repair, expand, and construct imperative projects that will make a noticeable impact on students’ lives.
